6" x 6" oil on canvas Today's painting. Orange is a tricky colour, though not as weird as yellow. I had fun with this one, especially the curvy pulp! Working on larger paintings too for the upcoming show...so back to the easel for me.
My earliest memories are of being close to nature. “Even when I had an urban address, the country is where my heart lived and I would escape the city at every opportunity. I celebrate the environment around me in my work. The animals, the sunsets and the quiet growing of the trees all call me back to myself.” I am committed to local living and sustainability.
I live on a small farm near Earltown, in the Cobequid Mountains. I share it with my partner and an assortment of furred and feathered creatures.
