 This was a commission for a wedding gift for a couple who are now taking on the care of this orchard in Malagash, NS with their three young boys.  Congratulations Brenna and Sebastian!

 A slightly larger version of the little one, it went off to Gallery 215 and sold at the opening!  It was also featured in the Arts Section of our provincial paper (thank you Susan!)  I think it wants to be bigger yet!

This is one of my favourite roads, especially in the Fall.  I have painted this scene in my mind so many times....this seemed to paint itself.  We have so many lovely old roadways here to explore.

Book Cover.....
No photo today, I have spent a good part of this week on illustrations for my friend Laurie Brinklow's new book of poetry to be released in the fall I'm here for the Music.  Don't want to spoil the surprise.  It was really fun and especially as I have known her a long time, I hope I have an interesting perspective to bring to the work. 
I am back to my borrowed space today!  I have a larger painting on the easel and can't wait to get back to it.

When you live on a farm, rainy days are when you go to  town for errands.  This is a familiar corner for those of us who travel over the mountain!   

Borrowed spaces...and inspiration!

I have been able to find a borrowed, beautiful space to paint in for the next few months.  It is a little hall, with a big room.  Glorious.  I spent the last weekend cleaning, later this week I hope to put paint to canvas!
